  •  how my heart went out to the many people i saw today while out shopping…

“a girl who barely eats because she is so afraid of what she looks like

does she know that I made her in My perfect image? she is beautiful in My sight!

to those that worship the devil…whose spirits clash with that of Mine

how I long for them to be in My army! not the enemy’s!

to the young man who longs to be loved by someone

I’m right here son! My love abounds and I want to show you that you are important in My eyes.

do not belittle these people. you do not know their circumstances, instead go out and show them Me.

    show them My everlasting love.”

we so often want something extraordinary to happen….to be used for His glory in the extraordinary

look! look in the ordinary! in the everyday life we can be used for His glory

it seems that there are so many people to be reached, yet so little people to reach them.

oh, my heart goes out. please, Lord help me here.. You’ve got to help me here.

“let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” matthew 5:16

why am i wanting the things of this world?

what i am wanting is not what I need!

    all i need is You

you are my all in all

you are the one that i need

you are the one i hold onto

    my all in all..

‘tis joy enough, my All in all,

    at thy dear feet to lie;

thou wilt not let me lower fall

    and none can higher fly

    ~william cowper

    joy.

  • Lord, separate. separate me from the rest.

my voice is calling out in this desert.

speak to me…whether it’s what i want to hear or not.

    i’m listening.

open these eyes to see You alone.

may compromise never be an issue.

Lord, please…call me out from among this world and what it has to offer.

“Therefore I am now going to allure her; I will lead her into the desert and speak tenderly to her.

There I will give her back her vineyards, and will make the Valley of Achor a door of hope…”

    Hosea 2:14-15

i have been thinking…why do we so often go to the Lord with our requests and wants?

at times, why can’t our prayer simply be giving. giving Him our love.

it confuses me how people go to Him at specific times wanting this or that, yet He is worthy of so much more!

(He is worthy of our praise, our love, our everything! this is why we were created, is it not?)

oh may my life be a never-ending prayer that, at times, is more than requests…but giving my love to Him.

“Prayer is not so much what we ask as what we are. God responds to our prayers based on our lives. In John 15:7, Jesus says, “If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, you shall ask what you will, and it shall be done unto you.” Prayer is a lifestyle. It is spending time with God and spending time in the Word of God. Redemption has two sides… the legal side and the reality side. You can be legally saved but still never have a single prayer answered.”
