“have you not known? have you not heard? the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength. even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall, but those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.” isaiah 40:27-3
“waiting for God is not laziness. waiting for God is not going to sleep.
waiting for God is not the abandonment of effort waiting for God needs strength
rather than weakness. it is the power to do nothing.” ~ westminister pulpit“no ear has heard, no ear has perceived, no eye has seen any God
besides You, who acts on behalf of those who wait for Him…” isaiah 64:4

I enjoyed reading some of the things I sent you too! (What I’ve read so far that is!) So thank you.
Many blessings to you, sweet Arielle!
This immediately came to mind from our buddy Oswald
He works where He sends us to wait. ” “Wait on the Lord” and He will work. But don’t wait sulking spiritually and feeling sorry for yourself, just because you can’t see one inch in front of you! Are we detached enough from our own spiritual fits of emotion to “wait patiently for Him”? Waiting is not sitting with folded hands doing nothing, but it is learning to do what we are told.
Miss you and love you!
another thought on waiting for God, is like in waiter, you wait on God, doing as He wills.
Heather
ahh, you are just so awesome.

Well…this is really amazing, weird, strange, odd
Why? Well, I was planning to post these same words from Chambers
Ehhmmm…”awesome God” don’t you think?!
Be blessed and keep working (that is: learning/exercising yourself to wait on the Lord
)
Your brotha
Thank you for that. O, how I need my strength to be renewed! Consider me waiting!
I think Nickel Creeks new CD comes out in August sometime.

So it seems you are doing well. I am also feeling better. Sorry about the e-mail, I was trying to ger over whatever it was thatg was wrong with me. And I was trying to deny that something was wrong and thought it better not to pretend I was fine than to just be honest. So I’m home….and better….and all of the good stuff. I will write to you soon, I hope you are having a lot of fun…and learning a lot.
Be blessed sister!

MHnm. That’s good. It is very difficult to quiet our restless spirit and listen to God’s spirit. Many times even when He is silent it’s for our good to build character and patience in us. Have a great day!
