there is something about the ohio valley in the autumn that is quite beautiful. like something i have never seen anywhere else. there is something inspiring about sitting on a far hill side, looking out over the water of the river and see hill upon hill of forests. you can look out for miles through the valley and see nothing but the trees in their hues of brown, marroon, oranges, and yellows. it is like looking at a painting that only the most amazing Artist could ever paint. His beauty radiates in everything. He shows His majesty in everything through-out this earth..is it not His?

so what can i give to One who is so glorious? so worthy of everything? what can i offer to Him?

    my life.

    all of it.

i offer Him all of me so that He can paint His own picture and be the Arist..the Author of my faith and my life. i allow Him to mold and shape me into something He can fill with Himself.
just as it says in isaiah 64:8

“yes, oh Lord, You are the Father, we are the clay, You are the Potter, we are the work of Your hands.”

take this life…use it for Your glory. paint the picture of my life.
it’s not mine, it’s Yours. radiate in me today, Jesus..

  • beautiful post arielle :) sometimes i wish i didn’t live so close to the city so i could see His beautiful creation more often….but i guess it teaches you to treasure simple things like the colors of the leaves in fall and clear nights with a full moon. ahh, i could live in those moments forever. that’s what beauty is.

  • Thanks for the comment Arielle. I like what Zac Poonen said.

    God bless

  • Oh yeah, excellent post! That is my prayer also.

  • Thats a beautiful post Arielle!!!! Lets pray that this divine Artist can paint our lives into something beuaitful completely and utterly for Him  Thank you for your comments as well!!!

    Love and prayers in JMJ+

  • Wonderful message, I pray in agreement with you too!

  • Beautiful post!  I am always amazed by His creativity and wondeful works.  How blessed we are to have this awesome God to be the painter and potter of our lives! :)

  • Excellent post…. He is the Potter and we the clay… If only this truth could be a reality. The clay cannot speak or question. It is jus there for the Potter to do as He wills. It does not complain or question the Potter. It cannot and the law of nature shows that it should not. If only I could be that clay…. Trusting. Allowing the Potter to finish His work on the wheel. Trusting and not questioning. Not seeking to do my own will and find my own way out….

I like the picture of Autumn. It is breathtaking. The seasons have changed here in Europe and everything is going haywire. Autumns are no longer what they used to be. So much as been destroyed by pollution and heating up of the planet. But all this announces the coming of Jesus…. Soon and very soon….

I too listened to the message by Zac Poonen. What a blessing. I need to listen to even more.

    Be blessed, Sof

  • Quite beautiful, yes.  RYC:  I had a great weekend, thanks.  I had water!    But now it’s back to beside the still waters.  Doesn’t He have the greatest sense of humor!  He’s the author of it all, arielle.  And we are His daughters!  Yay!

  • I love watching the Lord use you as His canvas, painting His picture, telling His story through you :) I also love this song! The words mean so much….’stop looking back…start moving on…learn how to face my fears… love with all of my heart’..Love you, M.

  • that’s one of my favorite pictures…God being an artist.

  • That picture and your description of Ohio makes me want to go there to visit.  Man… looks like a scene out of “Anne of Avonlee” almost.  I’ve been into the Anne series lately!  Wow!  I LOVE God’s creation.  When I’m out in it, just “drinking it all in” as Anne would say, I feel closer to God.  Thanks for sharing about your side of the country.  I didn’t get a picture of it (man, I wish I did), but I saw the most awesome rainbow either Thursday or Friday.  It was a very dramatic sky.  I was driving home from work and behind me was a clear sky.  The sun shone so bright on the trees, and behind them was a very dark, gray sky with a bold, thick, dark shaded rainbow arching across the sky.  I thought back to what the Scriptures record as the meaning to a rainbow, and it reminded me that God keeps His promises.  So that’s been the most interesting thing I’ve seen over here in California this time of year.  Believe it or not, we’ve actually been getting rain.  It’s unusual for this time for us.

  • Amen, my sister. Great stuff. God bless!

  • And I like the song….

  • Hi Arielle!! I just love your post revealing your heart’s cry to Him! So very, very precious to the Father! I cannot wait to watch the rest of your life unfold, glorifying Him. I want a front-row seat!! ;) I love your pic! Did you take it? How was your photography class last week? A little bird told me. :) Hi birdie! ;) Blessings and much love to you!

  • Awww… thank you for your prayers!  I really appreciate it.  Wow, that’s cool you’re taking a photography class.  I’ve thought of taking one, but I really don’t have extra time.  I only have so many free nights.  [laughs] Well, if you’re taking a class, I doubt that I will have anything to teach you.  You’ll be teaching me, more than likely!  Hey, I can’t believe this worked, but I was able to put 3 links on my xanga to videos of the kids in Ukraine.  Check them out if you get a chance.  Well, have a great weekend!

  • I love that photo DOm
