“take my life, make it clay
shape this life in intricate ways “
“the highest glory of the creature is in being a vessel,
to recieve and enjoy and show forth the glory of God.
it can do this only as it is willing to be nothing in itself,
that God may be everything.”
{ andrew murray }
“yes, oh Lord, You are the Father, we are the clay..
…You are the Potter, we are the work of Your hands.”
{ isaiah 64:8 }
this life is not my own..
…it’s Yours, Jesus.
shape this life so that Your beauty and glory might shine through…

Have you ever heard of Pottersfield Ministries? It’s a husband and wife team – Mike and Pam Rozell. I’ve seen them about 3 times. We have them do a pottery demonstration our church from time to time. Mike makes a clay vessel and gives his testimony and Pam shares a bit too and sings. It’s really beautiful. Hey, you can actually listen to the last time they shared at our church. Let’s see… what’s the link? Here we go – http://www.calvarychapel.com/escondido/sermons/pfm-02-20-05.mp3. Mike gives such great analogies about the potter and the clay being a picture of God and us.
excellent post arielle. May we be moldable in the masters hands.
Beautiful post! It reminds me of another song: “You are the potter, I am the clay. Mold me and make me, this is what I pray.”
Have a wonderful week!

Have you heard the song “Hand of the Potter”, by Caedmon’s Call? Your post reminded me of it. It is more of an upbeat song, not as beautiful and relaxing as the one you have on here.
Be blessed this week. May your heart and mind be malleable to the Lord.
It’s awesome,as soon as I left the whole money thing in His hands He has been providing in amazing ways.He just blows me away!!
